Bringing care closer to the populations furthest from it.
The context
Access to care remains difficult for many families, whether for lack of means or of proximity to health facilities. Yet a consultation and a few medications can prevent serious complications.
Our objectives
- Provide free consultations and medication to the most vulnerable.
- Reach out to communities, as close as possible to the neighbourhoods.
- Raise awareness of prevention and health.
What we have achieved
Through its medical caravans and free care campaigns, NZILA Leaders has made it possible to treat more than a thousand people, often with the support of the Samu Social Gabonais. During the 2nd edition of the caravan, on 22 April 2023 at CICIBA (Okala, Akanda), 354 consultations — gynaecological, dental and paediatric — were carried out, together with the distribution of more than 2,000 items of clothing to families.
