The NZILA Leaders Association has received Certificate of Compliance no. 0000111/MJSRCAVA/SG/DGJASE, issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Cultural Influence and the Arts, responsible for Community Life. This official recognition honours the seriousness and commitment of the association in the service of Gabonese communities.
This is an important milestone on NZILA Leaders' path. In presenting it with its Certificate of Compliance, the youth administration officially recognises the association's managerial, technical and operational capacities to carry out its activities across the whole country.
Issued by the Directorate-General for Youth, Sports and Socio-Educational Activities (DGJASE), this certificate falls within the framework of Law no. 35/62 of 10 December 1962 on associations and Decree no. 00648 of 30 June 1972 establishing standard statutes for associations. Under the terms of its Article 2, it serves as the administration's approval allowing the association to carry out its actions, in accordance with associative ethics and standards of conduct.
A mark of credibility for partners
Since 2019, NZILA Leaders has multiplied its fieldwork: distribution of school kits, Christmas trees in hospitals, medical caravans, solidarity giveaways, beach clean-ups, promotion of youth leadership. For such an active association, this recognition from the State is a powerful mark of credibility in the eyes of institutional partners, corporate patrons, funders and beneficiary populations.
Valid for two years and subject to regular oversight by the DGJASE's services, the certificate commits the association to maintaining a high level of rigour in the conduct of its projects.
"This certificate is not an end, it is a responsibility. It confirms that the path charted since 2019 is the right one, and it obliges us, towards all those we serve, to always do better."
— Elvis Ossindji, Founder of NZILA Leaders
Continuing the journey
Strengthened by this recognition, the association intends to reinforce its partnerships and amplify its impact across its areas of action — education, health, childhood, environment and youth leadership — in line with the Sustainable Development Goals. NZILA Leaders invites citizens, volunteers, companies and institutions to join its work.
The NZILA Leaders Association is a Gabonese non-profit association founded in 2019 in Libreville, governed by Law no. 35/62 of 10 December 1962. Its name, drawn from a Bantu language of Gabon, means "the path". Its mission: to bring the most vulnerable people concrete solutions to improve quality of life and to develop youth leadership, drawing on the Sustainable Development Goals.
