Clothing families in greatest need with dignity, free of charge.
The context
Dressing decently is a fundamental need that hardship sometimes places out of reach. By collecting and redistributing clothing in good condition, NZILA Leaders restores dignity to families, with nothing expected in return.
Our objectives
- Distribute clothing and shoes free of charge to those most in need.
- Promote reuse and neighbourhood solidarity.
- Reach out to families, at the heart of the neighbourhoods.
What we have achieved
Through its free clothing giveaways, NZILA Leaders has distributed more than 3,000 items of clothing and shoes. During the single event at CICIBA (Akanda) alone, 2,000 items of clothing and 59 pairs of shoes were handed out to families — in collaboration with nonprofit and private partners, including the association « L'amour n'a pas de prix ».
