The NZILA Leaders Association provides the most vulnerable people with concrete solutions to improve their quality of life and develop youth leadership — to build a more prosperous Africa.
"Nzila" means "the path" in a Bantu language of Gabon. Our commitment: to chart the way of leadership, solidarity and sustainable development.
Founded in 2019 in Libreville and governed by law no. 35/62 of 10 December 1962, the NZILA Leaders Association brings together young people from diverse backgrounds around a shared conviction. Its name, drawn from a Bantu language of Gabon, means "the path": the path shown by Leaders. To improve quality of life, it grounds each of its actions in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through action and reflection, to provide the most vulnerable people with solutions to improve their quality of life and develop youth leadership.
To build a more prosperous Africa by forming a galaxy of enlightened, committed and united leaders.
Field actions rooted in the SDGs, carried out with community, institutional and private partners.
Our leaders develop their empathy toward the most disadvantaged.
We highlight the value of work and mutual aid.
The way we operate makes it possible to create a galaxy of enlightened leaders.
From the Founder to the Council of Elders, each body of NZILA Leaders carries part of the association's vision and commitment.

"NZILA means 'the path'. In creating this association, we wanted to open a way: that of a youth standing tall, reaching out to the most vulnerable and refusing indifference. Every school kit handed out, every child visited in hospital, every beach cleaned is a stone laid along this path. My conviction is simple: leadership only has meaning when it serves others. I invite you to walk with us."

"Supporting NZILA Leaders means ensuring that the momentum of its youth remains faithful to its values — fellowship, assistance, solidarity — and credible in the eyes of its partners as well as the people it serves."

"The Council of Elders is the memory and conscience of the association. It guides decisions, ensures compliance with the statutes and ethics, and passes on to new generations of leaders the experience that gives a lasting endeavor its strength."

"Our responsibility is to turn values into results: transparent governance, measurable actions and a team mobilized all year round. Together, we turn challenges into opportunities and chart the way toward new heights."
Health, education, clean energy, sustainable cities, protection of nature and partnerships: our actions contribute directly to several Sustainable Development Goals.
